About Us
House of Smiles Independent Dental Hygiene
Hello! I’m Bethany Freake, a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a passion for helping others achieve and maintain their best smile. I graduated from the Canadian National Institute of Health in 2019 and have been dedicated to providing exceptional care ever since.
With experience in general dental practice, I have developed a well-rounded skill set that allows me to address a variety of patient needs. In addition to my work in general hygiene, I specialize in professional teeth whitening at House of Smiles, where I help patients brighten their smiles with safe, effective treatments.
I believe in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for all my patients, making sure they feel informed and confident in the care they receive. Whether you’re visiting for routine hygiene care or to enhance your smile with whitening, I’m here to help you look and feel your best.

The EMS Airflow system is a dental cleaning tool that uses a jet stream of water and cleansing powders to remove plaque and stains from teeth. It's gentler and more efficient than traditional cleaning methods.
Benefits of EMS Airflow
Gentleness - gentler than traditional cleaning methods, making it a good choice for people with sensitive teeth or dental anxiety.
Efficiency - faster and more effective than traditional cleaning methods.
Pain-free - often pain-free, unlike traditional scaling methods.
Safe for dental restorations - safe to use on dental implants, crowns, veneers, and bridges.
Stain removal - can remove stains from teeth caused by coffee, tobacco, and other factors.
Complements whitening - can remove build-up that can interfere with teeth whitening.
Educates patients - can help patients understand which areas of their mouth need more attention.
The EMS Airflow is part of the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) procedure, which is a dental plaque management and cleaning procedure.
